When you join, reserve, or join the waitlist for an event, the organizer (Host) gets access to some of your information so they can manage attendees, check you in at the door, and contact you about the event. Here is exactly what they can see.
What the organizer sees
Your full name, username, and profile photo. Your age (not your date of birth), gender, and city. Your interests. Your phone number and your account email address, unless your sign-in provider hides your real email (like Apple's Hide My Email). Your ticket, its reference, whether you checked in, and whether cash was paid.
Your history with them
Which of the organizer's events you have joined and checked in to, any reviews and ratings you left on their events, and whether you follow them. Organizers keep this in a list of everyone who has ever joined their events, for as long as both accounts exist.
Downloads
Organizers can download their attendee list, including the information above, as a spreadsheet. Once downloaded, that copy is held by the organizer outside Eventure. Deleting your Eventure account removes you from their list in the app, but it can't remove a copy they already downloaded. To ask for that to be deleted, contact the organizer, or email us and we'll pass on your request.
What organizers cannot see
Your exact location, your date of birth, your friends list, your messages, your payment details, your saved events and searches, or events you attended with other organizers. Your profile privacy settings control what other users see on your profile. They don't hide the information above from the organizer of an event you joined.
Eventure does not sell your data. Organizers may only use your information to run their events and to contact you about them, and must not sell it or share it with anyone else. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
