Welcome to Eventure. These Terms govern your use of the Eventure app and services in Jordan. By creating an account, joining, or reserving an event you agree to these Terms.
1. About Eventure
Eventure is a discovery platform that connects people ("Explorers") with the individuals and organisations who run activities ("Hosts"). Eventure is an intermediary. Hosts, not Eventure, are responsible for organising, delivering, and being legally accountable for their events.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
3. Your account
You are responsible for your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Tell us at legal@eventurejo.com if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Events and Hosts
Event details, pricing, and availability are set by Hosts. Eventure does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, quality, or legality of any event, and does not endorse any Host. Any agreement to attend is between you and the Host.
If you are a Host, you receive personal information about the people who join your events (see our Privacy Policy and the Data Shared with Organizers page). You may use it only to run your events and to contact attendees about them. You must keep it secure, including any copy you download; you must not sell it, share it with anyone else, or use it for unrelated marketing; and you must delete a person's information when they ask or when you no longer need it. You are responsible for any copy you download and for handling it in line with applicable data-protection law in Jordan.
Hosts can invite members of their team to separate team accounts with limited roles. A team member acts on the Host's behalf: the Host is responsible for everything done through its team accounts and must remove access when someone leaves. Team members must follow these Terms and may use attendee information only as the Host is allowed to.
5. Reservations
Joining a free event or reserving a paid event creates a booking subject to capacity. A reservation is personal to you and is confirmed by a QR code shown in the app. Reservations are not transferable unless the Host allows it.
6. Payments
For events marked "cash payment", no amount is charged through the app. Your reservation commits you to paying the displayed amount directly to the Host in Jordanian Dinars at the venue upon entry. Eventure does not collect or hold cash payments. Card payment is coming soon and will be charged at the time of booking.
7. Cancellations and refunds
You may cancel a reservation from the app at any time before the event starts. For cash-payment reservations, cancelling simply releases your place, as no payment was made and nothing is owed. For card bookings (when available), whether you are refunded depends on the Host's cancellation policy for that event, which is shown on the event page before you book. Where the policy allows a refund, it is returned to your original payment method; refunds are initiated immediately but your bank may take several business days to post them. Late cancellations and no-shows may not be refunded. Cancellations that happen because you delete your account follow the same policy. If a Host cancels an event, any amount you paid in advance is refunded in full.
8. Your conduct
You agree to behave lawfully and respectfully toward Hosts and other attendees, to follow reasonable venue rules, and not to harass, endanger, or defraud anyone. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.
9. Entry and QR tickets
Your QR code is your entry pass. Keep it private; sharing it may prevent your own entry. Hosts may verify identity and may refuse entry where rules or capacity require.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Eventure is not liable for the acts or omissions of Hosts or attendees, for the quality or outcome of any event, or for indirect or consequential loss.
11. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, including the privacy controls available in the app. Please read the Privacy Policy to understand what we collect and your rights.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the version date above, and continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Amman, Jordan.
